After such good news..........
Dan called this morning to say he had pain in his lower pelvic area. Bob sent him to the ER thinking he had a kidney stone. Sure enough it turns out he has a large stone, lots of pain and a platelet level of 33,000. Platelets that low are not at a critical level, but they are very low. He is resting comfortably with IV pain medication. I told him I wished I could be there and would do whatever I could for him. He asked if I could dissolve kidney stones from a distance and since those powers have not yet been developed in my brain the next best thing (or really the FIRST best thing) is to ask you all to pray for him right now that this stone would pass easily and quickly. Our God is a BIG God and he is doing mighty things in Dan's life and body.
Luke !!: 5-10
“Suppose one of you has a friend, and he goes to him at midnight and says, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread,
because a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have nothing to set before him.’
“Then the one inside answers, ‘Don't bother me. The door is already locked, and my children are with me in bed. I can't get up and give you anything.’
I tell you, though he will not get up and give him the bread because he is his friend, yet because of the man's boldness he will get up and give him as much as he needs.
“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
