relay for life

I have just sent you all a forward from "Relay for Life". I hope you don't mind. I am "relaying" for the first time. I really do not know what I am doing, but I am compelled to help others with cancer and help fund research for cures. Dan and a young friend who is a "survivor" have agreed to open the relay event in the survivors lap. I am also lighting a "luminary" in honor of my dad who had prostate cancer and passed away almost 25 years ago. Our family has been the recipient of help from the American Cancer Society and I know many others have been helped by them. When you receive, you want to give back. I have learned more about cancer in these past 10 months than i ever knew before. I know that it affects many, many people and my heart's desire is to help find better ways to treat it.
