Monday night

Dearest friends and family, I first want to thank you for all the encouraging support I have received today. Today was a hard day in the sea of hard days. But good things have happened too. Dan still has a high temp that actually goes up and down (in cadence with ??) He is on 4 antibiotics and tylenol. He is not taking anything by mouth so his bowels can rest. His stent procedure went very well. His bilirubin has started coming down. His mouth sores are getting better and the excessive saliva secretions have diminished. Thank You LORD. We will praise you for the small steps of progress. I met some wonderful people at the hospital today who have joined our crew of prayer warriors. I appreciate you all so much. The LORD is carrying us through this storm. We know and serve a mighty God, El Shaddai.
Isaiah 42:5-10
This is what God the Lord says—
he who created the heavens and stretched them out,
who spread out the earth and all that comes out of it,
who gives breath to its people,
and life to those who walk on it:
“I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness;
I will take hold of your hand.
I will keep you and will make you
to be a covenant for the people
and a light for the Gentiles,
to open eyes that are blind,
to free captives from prison
and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.
“I am the Lord; that is my name!
I will not give my glory to another
or my praise to idols.
See, the former things have taken place,
and new things I declare;
before they spring into being
I announce them to you.”
Sing to the Lord a new song,
his praise from the ends of the earth,
you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it,
you islands, and all who live in them.

Dear Jamie - just to let you know that the Christensen's are praying for Dan and your family, as well as our Bible studies, and church - people you don't even know are holding you up in prayer.
May God continue to be glorified through this time of trial. May His healing virtue flow through Dan's body, I pray that God will strenghten you and Bob and give you His mighty wisdom. We pray that every doctor, nurse, technician and anyone else involved in Dan's case would be tools in the hands of our Almighty God. Jamie and Bob I pray for the peace of God, which passes all understanding to be with you.
Thank you for keeping the "warriors" updated this blog.
We carry you in our thoughts and prayers.
