Sunday night
My daughter is probably saying as she reads this "3 blogs in ONE day!" Many of you have noted that Jessica is a more accomplished blogger, but really my purpose is not prose but prayer prompts and I will not disappoint you prayer warriors tonight. The CT did not reveal the source of the elevated bilirubin, but it did show that Dan's colon is very inflamed. He is on all the antibiotic power needed. Now all he needs is your prayer infusion to stave off any infection of the bowel. That is serious stuff, my friends. Tomorrow the top GI attending may replace the stent as well which is important and has its risks as well. I am needing sleep and am heading to bed. Before I go let me remind you of a verse shared with me today: "Behold I am the LORD, is anything too difficult for me?" Jeremiah 32:27

Hi Jamie,
We have been reading your blogs for weeks, and praying for your requests. You are such a faithful example of strength, in time of weakness. Dan is courageous in this fight, and his attitude amazes me. I even printed out one of his blogs from last week, and had a family devotion centered around his brave words. I can only imagine through your words what you are all facing right now, but please know that you are not alone! We are praying hard, and continually, and your updates, with God's word included, are amazing testimonies to strong character, and faithfulness, in times of trouble. You are an inspiration to those around you. We will continue to pray and stand with you all. Here is a verse to encourage you.
"It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer; he enables me to stand on the heights. He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You give me your shield of victory; you stoop down to make me great. 2 Samuel 22:33-36
Blessings,
Kelly Hale
